What reviewers say

Independent coverage describes Eilik as a charming, expressive desk companion for play and gifting, not a general-purpose AI assistant or a robot that performs useful tasks. Its basic touch-driven interactions work offline without an app or subscription, but battery life is short and conversational/vision features require separately sold hardware; the reviewed sources are mostly editorial/specification-based rather than a representative sample of Indian owners. Security researchers also found its cloud chats exposed on insecure servers (Oct 2026).

Good

Expressive touch-triggered animations and personality
Basic use works offline without an account or recurring subscription
Simple setup; multiple Eilik units can interact
Compact desk-friendly design suited to gifting

Not so good

Cloud chats were found exposed on Energize Lab's servers (Oct 2026); avoid sharing sensitive details
Limited practical utility beyond entertainment and companionship
About 1.5 hours of use per charge is short
AI Station and other accessories cost extra
India availability and after-sales support are not well covered by the reviewed sources
