Details
AI smart glasses with hands-free photo/video capture, open-ear speakers, microphones and Meta AI. A current India smart-glasses guide reports the Gen 2 base price at ₹39,900 and a Diwali offer at ₹31,920 through 8 November 2026. The linked official page is the Gen 2 collection, so shoppers should select the matching variant and confirm the checkout price before buying.
Reviewers see the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 as a modest but worthwhile update: video goes up to 3K and battery life is clearly longer than the first model, in frames that pass for ordinary Ray-Bans. It suits first-time buyers more than Gen 1 owners, and the main caveats are an uneven Meta AI assistant and privacy concerns around recording and data use.
Good
Looks and wears like a regular pair of Ray-Ban frames
Sharper 3K video with good stabilisation compared to the first generation
Noticeably longer battery life than Gen 1, with fast charging from the case
Open-ear speakers and microphones work well for calls and music in moderate noise
Hands-free photos, translation and object recognition through voice commands
Not so good
Meta AI can be finicky and sometimes fails to recognise objects or follow requests
